About us

A chauffeur company judged on the mornings that go wrong

Anyone can send a clean car to a hotel forecourt at two in the afternoon. The work is the 05:10 pickup in freezing rain, the flight that lands ninety minutes early, the driver who calls in sick at 04:00 with three airport runs on his sheet. This page is about how that is handled, because that is what you are actually buying.

  • Dispatch desk in Mississauga
  • Dispatch answers 24 hours
  • Fixed fares, quoted before you book

What we are for

Three things this company is organised around

Everything else — the cars, the software, the hours the desk keeps — follows from these.

  • The time on the booking is the time

A chauffeur service that arrives when it can is a taxi with better upholstery. Cars are dispatched against the clock the traveller is working to, staged early, and watched from the desk until the passenger is aboard. If we are going to be late, you hear it from us before you notice it yourself.

  • The price is fixed before you commit

Every fare on this site is quoted in CAD and fixed before you confirm, with HST at 13% on its own line. Tolls, the 407, parking, fuel, airport fees and the included waiting time are already inside the figure. There is no meter, no surge and no line item that appears after the trip nobody mentioned before it.

  • Somebody answers

Dispatch is a person on a phone, not a queue position. The number is +1 (905) 555-0142 and it is answered around the clock, including by the people who will have to fix whatever you are calling about. The office keeps ordinary hours; the cars and the desk do not.

How a trip runs

What happens between your booking and your car

Five steps, none of which you should ever have to think about. They are written out here because a service that cannot describe its own process usually does not have one.

  1. 01

The booking is taken and priced

The fare is worked out against the route, the vehicle class and the time of day, and it is shown to you with HST separated before anything is confirmed. Nothing is charged on this website at any point.

  2. 02

A car and a chauffeur are committed

Dispatch assigns a specific vehicle to a specific trip, and the desk refuses an assignment that overlaps another one. A car cannot be in two places, so the system will not let anyone pretend it can.

  3. 03

    The morning is watched

Airport pickups are tracked from the tail number, so a delay, an early landing or a diversion moves the pickup without a phone call from you. Road closures and weather are the desk’s problem, and the desk starts earlier when they are forecast.

  4. 04

You are met, not looked for

Curbside at the terminal limousine stall, or inside at baggage claim with a digital name card, whichever you chose. You get the chauffeur’s name, the vehicle and the plate before you land, and the waiting spot by text where the kerb does not allow standing.

  5. 05

    The trip is closed properly

The trip is marked complete, the fare is settled after it or invoiced to your account, and anything that went differently from the booking — an added stop, an extra hour, waiting we waived — is recorded against the trip with the reason, where you can read it.

The people driving

What a Northcrest chauffeur is held to

A chauffeur is not a driver who owns a suit. The difference is in the hour before the pickup and the two minutes at the kerb, and it is taught, checked and enforced rather than hoped for.

Every chauffeur holds the provincial licence class required for the vehicle they drive, is insured on it commercially, and drives cars that are ours to maintain rather than theirs to neglect. The rest is standards of work, and these are the ones we hold people to.

Fifteen minutes early, every time
The chauffeur is in position before the booking time, in the place the booking names, and has already worked out where to stand if that place will not allow a car to wait.
Briefed before the car moves
Names, the entrance to use, the note you left, the child seat that has to be fitted, the second stop. The chauffeur reads the trip before they drive it, so nothing is discovered in front of you.
Discretion as a default
Doors held, conversation offered but never imposed, and nothing that happens in the back of the car discussed outside it. Calls taken in the car are not overheard for any purpose.
Presentation that does not need explaining
Dark suit, plain tie, clean car inside and out at the start of every trip, water in the door, and a boot that is empty before your luggage goes into it.
Ready for the winter it is
Dedicated winter tyres from November to April, an ice scraper that has been used, and a start time that respects the forecast rather than the map.
Safe before it is quick
Seat belts on, phones down, hours of service respected, and a chauffeur who would rather tell dispatch they are too tired than prove otherwise on the 401.

When it goes wrong

Something will go wrong. Here is what we do about it.

Vehicles break. People fall ill. The Gardiner closes with no notice and the QEW stops moving at the Skyway. None of that is unusual, and a company that only works when nothing goes wrong is a company you have not needed yet.

What we commit to is a substitute of equal or better class at no extra charge when a car cannot run, a call from dispatch the moment we know rather than the moment you ask, and a fare put right when the failure was ours to prevent.

Where we work

Based in Mississauga, working across the GTA and the Golden Horseshoe

The office is at 1 City Centre Drive, Suite 1010, in Mississauga, which puts the desk twenty minutes from Pearson in ordinary traffic and inside the region most of our work happens in.

Twelve cities carry fixed airport fares, four airports are served daily — Toronto Pearson, Billy Bishop, John C. Munro in Hamilton and Buffalo Niagara — and work beyond them is quoted by distance and time before you book.

Talk to dispatch

Ask us something specific

The useful conversation is about your actual morning: the flight, the building, the four people and the nine cases. Put that in front of us and we will tell you what it costs and how we would run it.
