The one city on our map with two airports within the hour
Oakville sits halfway between Toronto Pearson and John C. Munro Hamilton, in opposite directions along the QEW, and it is the only part of our coverage where that is a genuine choice rather than a formality. A flight out of Hamilton can be a shorter drive than a flight out of Pearson from the same driveway, which is worth knowing before the ticket is bought rather than after.
The town divides at Sixteen Mile Creek. East of it, Old Oakville is a harbour, a short grid of Lakeshore Road shops and residential streets of considerable age and considerable hedges. West of it, Bronte has its own harbour and a quieter main street. Between and north of them are Glen Abbey, River Oaks, Joshua Creek and Morrison, where the driveways are long, the gates are common, and a chauffeur who parks at the kerb is doing it wrong.
North of the QEW the town becomes corporate. Winston Park and the Trafalgar and Dundas offices generate the weekday morning airport runs, Sheridan College fills the roads in September, and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Dundas is a steady source of appointments and discharges. All of it hangs off three roads: the QEW, the 403 and the 407, and knowing which one is moving is most of the local skill.

Where the cars actually go
Old Oakville
Lakeshore Road East shops and the harbour, where on-street space is scarce and pickups use the side streets off Navy or Thomas.
Bronte
The harbour and Bronte Road village, ten minutes further west and closer to Burlington than to downtown Oakville.
Glen Abbey
Long crescents around the golf course, quiet enough for a 04:30 departure without waking a street.
Joshua Creek
Newer estates east of Ford Drive, usually reached from the 403 rather than from the QEW at Winston Churchill.
River Oaks
Family streets north of the QEW between Trafalgar and Eighth Line, with school-run timings we work around in September.
Winston Park
The corporate blocks at Winston Churchill and Upper Middle, with unmarked lobbies that the booking names by building.

Highway 403
The northern alternative when the QEW is standing, and the usual line towards the 401 and Pearson.

Lakeshore Road
Old Oakville to Bronte along the water, slow and beautiful, and the only sensible approach to the harbours.

Should I fly from Pearson or Hamilton?
From Oakville, Hamilton is often the shorter drive and always the calmer terminal, while Pearson has the schedule. The table above prices both as fixed fares, so the decision can be made on flights and drive time rather than on guesswork about the car.
Can the car wait during a round of golf or a long dinner?
That is an hourly charter. The chauffeur and the vehicle stay with you rather than being released and re-dispatched, which is what keeps a Glen Abbey afternoon or a Lakeshore Road evening from turning into two separate bookings.
Where do you collect in downtown Oakville?
