What you are buying when you buy hours
Hourly charter is not a longer transfer. It is exclusive use of one named vehicle and one chauffeur for a block of time, which is a different thing to sell and a far better thing to hold on a day whose shape you cannot predict. Between stops the car stays where you left it, your coats and cases stay in it, and a meeting that runs over costs you nothing but the meeting.
The clock starts at the pickup address at the booked time and stops when you release the chauffeur. Stops inside those hours are unlimited and the order is yours to rearrange on the day; the chauffeur carries the itinerary but takes direction from the passenger. Parking, tolls and fuel sit inside the hourly rate, so nobody circles a block to avoid a garage.
The minimum is three hours across the sedans, the SUVs and the executive van, and four on the stretch limousine, which is how the fleet is priced rather than a policy applied by hand. Run past the booking and the chauffeur simply keeps going at the same hourly rate, provided the vehicle is not committed to somebody else that evening. Dispatch tells you at the point of booking when that is the case.

What is already counted
The vehicle is yours for the block
No other trip is dispatched into your hours. The car waits at the kerb or in a garage nearby, and it waits with your chauffeur in it.
Stops are unlimited
The itinerary is a plan rather than a contract. Add a stop, drop one, or reverse the order at ten minutes notice.
Luggage stays aboard
Coats, sample cases, instruments and shopping stay in the vehicle for the whole booking. Nothing is carried in and out at each stop.
Parking, tolls and fuel
All inside the hourly rate, the 407 ETR and downtown garages included, so the route is chosen on time rather than on cost.
Waiting is not idle time
Your chauffeur stays with the vehicle and reachable by phone, so leaving is a text message rather than a search of the block.
Extend on the day
Time beyond the booking is added at the same hourly rate whenever the vehicle has not already been committed elsewhere.

Pick the vehicle for the party
Minimums differ by vehicle, and the fare for your hours appears against each one as you choose in the booking flow.

The chauffeur takes direction
On the day the passenger sets the order. The run sheet exists so that nothing is forgotten, not so that anything is enforced.

Release the car when you are done
The clock stops at the release, not at the last address. Extra hours are added at the rate you already agreed.

Questions we are actually asked
Does the three-hour minimum apply to every vehicle?
It is three hours on the sedans, the SUVs and the executive van, and four hours on the stretch limousine. Each vehicle carries its own minimum and shows it when you select it in the booking flow.
When does the clock start and stop?
Charter time starts and ends at the pickup address. The run from our base out to you, and the run home afterwards, are ours rather than yours.
Can I extend the booking while it is running?
Usually. The chauffeur checks with dispatch and the extra time is charged at the same hourly rate. The only thing that prevents it is the vehicle already being committed to a later booking, which dispatch flags when you reserve.
Can we leave luggage in the car during a meeting?
Yes. The vehicle is held for you and nothing is dispatched into your hours, so cases, equipment and samples stay aboard for the whole booking rather than being unloaded at every stop.
Is charter time cheaper than separate transfers?
Once a day has three or more stops in it, usually. Ask dispatch to price it both ways before you book; there is no advantage to us in selling you the wrong one of the two.
