One pickup, one destination

The fare is agreed at the kerb you leave, not the one you reach.

Distance and time are priced before you book and do not move afterwards. A closure on the Gardiner is our problem, and the decision to take the 407 is ours to make.

  • Priced by distance and time
  • 15 minutes of wait at the pickup
  • Tolls, parking and fuel included

Fixed rather than metered

Who carries the risk of the road

A meter transfers every hazard on the route to the passenger. A collision closing three lanes of the 401, a lift bridge up in Burlington, a stadium crowd emptying onto Bremner: all of it lands on the fare, and none of it was chosen by the person in the back. A fixed transfer moves that risk back onto the operator, which is where it belongs, because the operator picked the route and the departure time.

We price this work from the driven distance and the expected running time between two real addresses, against the rate card for whichever vehicle you choose. You see the figure before you commit to anything. Tolls including the 407 ETR, parking at both ends and fuel are already inside it, which is why our chauffeurs take the express lanes when they are worth taking instead of stopping to ask whether you will approve the charge.

The chauffeur arrives ahead of the booked time, and the first fifteen minutes at the pickup are included, which usually covers a lift that will not come or one last box that has to travel. A longer hold is better bought as charter time, and dispatch will say so rather than quietly letting a clock run against you.

Inside the fare

What is already counted

  • Quoted before you commit

Distance, running time and the vehicle rate produce a single figure. It does not move while you are sitting in the car.

  • The 407 and every other toll

Tolls, bridge fees, parking at both ends and fuel are inside the fare. The chauffeur never asks you to approve a route charge.

  • Fifteen minutes at the pickup

Included at the start of every transfer, which is usually the difference between leaving calmly and leaving in a hurry.

  • Door to door at both ends

The chauffeur loads and unloads. Lobby entrances, side doors and loading bays are noted when you book, not discovered on arrival.

  • Intercity runs quoted flat

Hamilton, Niagara Falls and the wine route are priced as fixed charters rather than measured by the kilometre on the day.

  • Night pickups priced openly

Pickups between 22:00 to 06:00 ET carry a surcharge that appears in the fare breakdown before you confirm, never after the trip.

How it runs

Four steps, start to finish

  1. 01

    Give us both ends

A postal code or a building name is enough. We measure the route a chauffeur would actually drive, not a line across the map.

  2. 02

    Pick the vehicle

Every vehicle is priced against the same trip, so the gap between a sedan and a full-size SUV is a number rather than a conversation.

  3. 03

    Confirm and forget it

Dispatch sends a reference, the chauffeur name and the vehicle. Nothing is charged on this site and no card is held.

  4. 04

    One figure at the end

The fare you agreed, HST at 13% on its own line, and no adjustment for whatever the traffic did in between.

What dispatch usually sends

Read from the live fleet, so a vehicle taken off the road stops appearing here. Fares for each one are quoted on the booking form against your own trip.

Before you book

Questions we are actually asked

Does traffic on the day change the fare?

No. The fare is agreed from the route and the vehicle before you book. If a closure adds half an hour to the drive, the figure on your invoice is still the figure you agreed when you confirmed the trip.

Can I add a stop on the way?

One short stop can usually be written into the booking, and dispatch re-quotes it before the day. A trip with several stops in it is calmer and often cheaper as an hourly charter, and we will say so when that is true.

How much notice do you need?

Same-day transfers usually go out without trouble, and dispatch answers at any hour on +1 (905) 555-0142. Booking the night before gets you the pick of the fleet instead of whatever is still uncommitted.

Do you drive beyond the twelve cities?

Yes. Anything outside the fixed-fare zones, from a client site in Kitchener to a cottage road north of Barrie, is quoted as a one-off charter on the same distance-and-time basis before you book it.

Are tolls genuinely included?

Yes, the 407 ETR included. The chauffeur decides whether the express route earns its cost on the day, and the fare does not move whichever way that decision goes.
