Why dispatch reaches for it

The MKT Stretch is the fleet's evening car. Eight seats behind a privacy partition, a facing lounge bench, fibre-optic lighting and a chilled compartment: it is booked for weddings, milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners and the kind of night out that is better remembered as one journey than four taxi rides.

It is the one vehicle we do not put on airport transfers. A stretch limousine is the wrong shape for a terminal forecourt and the wrong car for luggage, so it is sold by the hour with a four-hour minimum and nothing else. The chauffeur stays with the party for the whole booking, which is what a wedding timetable actually needs: one car, one driver and no renegotiation at eleven o'clock at night.

Every figure below is a fixed fare for a weekday daytime pickup, priced by the same engine that quotes your booking. Tolls including the 407, parking, fuel and airport fees are already inside it.

Point-to-point trips outside these zones are quoted by distance and time in the booking form before you commit. A pickup inside the 22:00 to 06:00 ET window adds CAD $35.00, and an Ontario statutory holiday adds CAD $45.00. HST is charged on the whole fare and is the column on the right.

Questions we are asked about this vehicle

Why can I not book the stretch for an airport run?

Because it would be the wrong car and we would rather say so. The rear cabin seats eight but takes only four cases, and a stretch limousine cannot use the terminal limousine stalls the way a sedan or an SUV can. For an eight-passenger airport transfer, book the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Executive.

How does the four-hour minimum work on a wedding day?

The clock starts at the first pickup time on the booking and runs to the last drop-off, and four hours is the shortest booking we take. Most wedding bookings run longer than four hours in practice, so dispatch builds the timetable with you and quotes the whole block before you commit.

Can the party bring drinks aboard?

The chilled compartment is stocked with still and sparkling water as standard, and you are welcome to bring your own for the passengers. Ontario law applies inside the vehicle as it does anywhere else, so open alcohol is not permitted on the road.
