Fallsview hotels, the Parkway and four ways across the river
Niagara Falls is the far end of our map and the only city on it where the border is part of daily life. Four crossings sit within half an hour of each other: the Rainbow Bridge into downtown Niagara Falls, New York, the Whirlpool Rapids bridge for NEXUS holders only, the Queenston-Lewiston crossing onto the American interstate, and the Peace Bridge at Fort Erie. Choosing between them on the day is the difference between a twenty-minute crossing and an hour of it.
The visitor half of the city is dense and vertical. The Fallsview hotels look out over the brink from the top of the hill, Clifton Hill runs down towards the river, and the Niagara Parkway follows the water with a speed limit that will not be hurried. Coach traffic clogs the hotel ramps from mid-morning, so a car that needs to be at the Scotiabank Convention Centre or Table Rock at a fixed hour leaves earlier than the map suggests.
Fifteen minutes north the character changes completely. Niagara-on-the-Lake is Georgian streets, the Shaw Festival and the wineries along Niagara Stone Road, and it is the reason most of our work down here is booked by the hour rather than by the trip. A chauffeur holds the car for the day, drives between estates at a pace nobody needs to think about, and takes everyone home in the evening.

The hotel and casino district above the brink, with ramps that fill with coaches from mid-morning onwards.
Clifton Hill
The attraction strip down to the river, closed to standing traffic, so pickups are pinned to Victoria Avenue instead.
Lundy Lane
The long motel corridor west of the centre, straightforward to serve and close to the QEW ramps.
Chippawa
The village at the Welland River south of the falls, quiet, residential and ten minutes from the Fallsview hotels.
Stamford
The residential middle of the city around Portage Road, away from the visitor traffic altogether.
Niagara-on-the-Lake
Queen Street, the Shaw theatres and the estate wineries north along Niagara Stone Road, twenty minutes up the Parkway.

Stanley Avenue, where delegate arrivals and coaches overlap, so group drop-offs are timed away from the hour.
Skylon Tower
Robinson Street at the top of the hill, with a short forecourt that works between the dinner sittings and not during them.
Shaw Festival, Niagara-on-the-Lake
Queen Street theatres twenty minutes up the Parkway, and the usual second half of a winery day.

How does a full day in the wine country work?
As an hourly charter with a minimum block set per vehicle. The chauffeur keeps the car with you between estates on Niagara Stone Road, waits through each tasting and lunch, and drives the party home at the end. Nobody is negotiating a return trip at 17:00.
Will you take us across to the American side?
Yes, as a fixed intercity charter. Every passenger carries their own travel documents, the chauffeur crosses with you, and the wait at the booth is absorbed in the fare rather than added to it. Dispatch picks the crossing on the day.
Can you drive us to Toronto rather than to an airport?
Often, and it is a common booking after a wedding or a conference. A city transfer is priced point to point rather than from the airport table above, and the quote is fixed in Canadian dollars with HST on its own line before you confirm it.
